They say a picture is worth a thousand words. With my photography, I strive to truly emulate this notion. My images all contain a story or message, but they are not concrete like novels or texts. Visual perception operates on many planes, and thus my work can be interpreted in many different ways. I hope to invoke strong emotions, and help others see the world and its facets in a different, more captivating perspective, whether those facets are simple or complex.

Spectrum
Taken at Tent Rocks National Monument, New Mexico. July 2015.
Played around with the lighting and the contrast of this piece, and WITHOUT changing the actual color, only the vibrance / saturation, I was able to achieve this great juxtaposition of the orange and blue colors, leading to a "spectrum" of sorts. Really enjoyed this piece overall.
